How this site makes money

Emily J. Pearson is the author of Whenever You're Ready and the You Would Have Loved This journals, which this site links to. We say so plainly wherever they appear.

Privacy

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no trackers that follow you around the internet. Visitor counting is done with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and stores no personal information.

When you follow the journal link in our writing-prompts article or click an Amazon button, we record which page, journal and link were used. We do not record the Amazon link, its tracking code, your identity, or anything you type.

If you join the mailing list, your email address is used to send you the newsletter and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time.

What this site is not

Nothing here is medical or psychological advice. If grief is making it hard to function, a doctor or a counselor is the right next step, not a website.
